- Receive $20/month for the duration of the pilot.
Off-peak hours are defined as 7 p.m. to 1 p.m. the following day, during weekdays.

When are Off Peak Hours?
Off-peak hours are defined as 7 p.m. to 1 p.m. the following day, during weekdays. Particularly during the peak demand season when the pilot will be running, these are hours when it is more beneficial to the grid for customers to charge their EVs.
Am I eligible to participate?
To participate in the Entergy Texas EV Demand Management Pilot, you must:
- Be an Entergy Texas residential customer who drives an electric vehicle
- Have an eligible EV charger or telematics-based (direct-to-vehicle data connection) connection via your vehicle manufacturer’s app.
- Have an always-on Wi-Fi network
Can I charge during peak hours?
Yes, customers can opt out of participating as needed. However, opting out three times or more in a given month, will mean that a customer is not eligible for that month’s $20 reward.
What vehicle types and EV chargers are eligible for the pilot?
This pilot will use both telematics (direct-to-vehicle data connection) and EVSEs from the following vehicle and EVSE OEMs:
- ChargePoint (EVSE)
- Emporia (EVSE)
- Evocharge (EVSE)
- Wallbox (EVSE)
- Lexus (telematics)
- Tesla (telematics)
- Toyota (telematics)
