Abby Weaver is the Vice President of Business Operations and Strategy of Entergy Texas, an electric utility that serves more than 524,000 customers in 27 Southeast Texas counties.

In this role, Weaver leads the development of the company’s overall strategy to drive growth and enhance operations, while working collaboratively across the corporation to achieve strategic objectives and execute key initiatives. Additionally, as chief of staff to the CEO of Entergy Texas, Weaver manages large, cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.

Since joining Entergy as an intern in the accounting department, Weaver has held a variety of leadership roles, including finance director for Entergy Texas and a director in the system planning and operations organization. Most recently, she served as Entergy Texas’ director of resource planning and market operations, where she led fuel, generation, transmission, and wholesale power planning for the company.

Weaver holds a Master of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans.
